Baby signing can open up a
whole new world of communication
for you and your little one!

Signers baby signing classes and workshops are based on the SIGN with your BABYTM programme created by Dr Joseph Garcia, a sign language
interpreter and child development expert. During
his work with Deaf families he discovered that their hearing babies learnt to
sign very easily. They also appeared less demanding than non-signing
babies as they could communicate their thoughts and needs easily to their
parents. Dr Garcia realised that this
could also benefit hearing parents and make their home lives with their
little ones far less stressful! By
signing with your baby you will not only discover what it is your little one
is thinking and feeling, but you are also helping to jump start your child’s
communication skills. |

Sunny Signers have been
running their highly successful baby signing classes for almost four years.
Classes are unique as Sunny Signers teachers are experienced sign language
interpreters and so classes can be tailored to meet the needs of each
participant. N
Learn simple signs taken
from British Sign Language (borrowed from the British Deaf community) N
Fun, informative sessions
will entertain and inform you. N
Signs are taught through
songs, stories and activities N
Parents, babies,
pre-schoolers, carers, groups and childcare providers are all welcome. N
